(More customer reviews)This unit has a very reliable combination of engine(Honda GX270) and pump(Cat 3SPX30G1l). I have many hours on a different brand washer(Husqvarna) with the same components and I bought this one for that reason. I am also happy with the platform as it seems to be well made. My only complaint is the packaging, as the gas tank was dented in the top, and there was damage to the gun that was in the bottom of the box.

(More customer reviews)Functionally this has worked out to be a good replacement for the pump on my craftsman power washer, but it isn't a true form, fit and function replacement. The connections for the incoming and outgoing water supplies are much closer together than my original. It makes it very challenging to attach your garden hose as you can't wrap your hand all the way around the hose connection. If you like to keep your hose good and tight so there aren't a bunch of drips, keep a set of pliers handy.

(More customer reviews)I bought this pump last year to replace the one that failed on my 8hp Generiac pressure washer. This pump is not ceramic like the original, but has already lasted longer than the original unit. It bolted on just fine, I had to get an adapter for one of the fittings, but no big deal. This unit has been a good replacement for a power washer that is used by the neighborhood for washing their house before painting. I don't know if it would hold up for professional, but for us it has been fine. 3 houses done, and it is still working. To powerfull for washing cars though, it took the paint right off my montero bumper, and the labels off my fiberglass ladders.

(More customer reviews)I just bought this machine today 6/3/09 so I haven't had extensive experience with it. However, from what I've seen so far it should be a nice machine for the home handyman. I got it out of the box and put the handle on it and put the wand together along with the hose. Pretty straight forward and no complicated maneuvers required. I put oil in the crankcase and gas in the tank then pulled the handle. It started the FIRST TIME! I was impressed. I then proceeded to clean off my riding lawnmower to give it a test. I turned the mower on its side and it ripped the old caked grass right out of the mower with no problem. I then adjusted the wand for a "fan" spray and sprayed a few boards on my house to see how well it would take off the old paint in preparation for a new coat. Did the job just fine without damaging the wood. I wasn't sure how I was going to like the adjustable nozzle, which goes from a straight stream to a nice wide fan and everything in-between. But I do like it. So far it looks like a winner. I have a lot of chores scheduled for this machine this summer so I'll know more by fall but so far it looks good.

They're supposedly being taken over by Husqvarna, but if you have a problem with a product, you're out of luck. I bought a McCulloch pressure washer from Amazon on 8/31/09. After about 20 minutes of use, the washer wand extension - the pipe going from the trigger to the nozzle - split and started spraying out the side, making the washer useless. The warranty number sends you to a company called "Dixie Sales". On my first call, they said they would send a replacement part. After two months of waiting and many more calls, they finally told me the part is on "factory backorder" and not expected to be available until late December. Even if this is true (I doubt it), I've gotten no use out of a poorly made $200 product over the first four months I've owned it. To add insult to frustration, I can't even write a review for the product I bought, which has totally disappeared from Amazon.

(More customer reviews)I bought this wand for the sole purpose of using it to clean out my gutters. While the concept seems good, it didn't really work out like I had planned, probably because I'm pretty new to the whole gutter-cleaning thing.
The big problem I had, was that unless I was up high enough to see into the gutters, I really couldn't tell what was "going on" up there. I was just standing below, hoping it was working and getting wet/dirty in the process. I did have a lot of junk in my gutters, so if this was used on a regular basis, maybe it wouldn't be a problem. I ended up on ladders/the roof, using the regular wand instead. I then went ahead and bought some cheap vinyl gutter guards, so that I wouldn't have to do this again. I may still use the wand to clean the tops of those off, though.
One last thing: I also bought an extension wand to use for this purpose. Putting the two together can make the spray wand a little hard to control, as it is spraying out at an angle, so far away from your hands.
