(More customer reviews)Half of the time the nozzle doesn't rotate and all you have is a stationary pencil line. Play around with the wand trigger turning the water on and off will activate the nozzle rotation most of the time so when it spins, it works really well. This is compounded by the problem that Karcher gas powered washers have a known sticking valve problem reducing the pressure with zero boost pressure at the nozzle end.

(More customer reviews)This generator is an excellent unit. It doesn't always start first pull, to be perfectly honest, but it will by the 2nd or 3rd pull. It has run everything I have put on it. I have run air compressors, circular saws, large construction fans, radios (all at the same time) and the unit never even got bogged down.
It is a perfect jobsite type generator or an excellent emergency power generator. It has much higher amps than similar (lower quality) 5,000 watt generators. I wish I would have gotten the 7,000 watt, but oh well.

Tahoe 50201122 Gutter Cleaning Telescoping Wand 41.5" - 68.5" Review

(More customer reviews)To clean out the gutters I usually go up the ladder at the garage, climb onto the roof and clean the whole length of gutter on the garage, one scoop at a time. Then I have to do each side of the house, same scenario. Very time consuming, not to mention that I am stretched out half over the gutter hoping that I don't lose my balance and fall 7,8,9,10 feet to the ground. I have little screens over the downspouts to keep the tons of maple wings from ganging my downspout closed, but I need to keep those screens cleaned so the gutters can drain. I purchased this tool to help chase the particles and "wings" to the downspout screens so that I don't need to go up on the roof or keep moving my ladder 54 times to clean the length of gutters. It works pretty well; my maple wings have slowed down by now, so not sure how it will handle heavy material; it doesn't seem to have a lot of punch to the spray. I first used it by walking from the middle of the gutter and spraying each section toward the downspout to chase stuff "downstream". Then I went up the ladder at the downspout to clean from that one spot. I got the heaviest stuff out, then I hung the cleaning wand on the gutter lip and that let the spray shoot into the gutter and "float" the lighter stuff down toward the downspout to be cleaned out. This worked pretty well.
Pros: TELESCOPING feature - I love this feature!
Shut-off Valve right on the handle of the wand! This is very handy; you will want to shut off the water there before removing the wand from
the gutter, so you don't get a shower!
Lightweight Aluminum body.
Cons: Not a lot of pressure created at the spray nozzle, but I guess it isn't a pressure washer!
Not something to do on a cold day cause you might get a bit wet.
All in all, I am glad I purchased this tool, I felt it was a good price for what it does. It makes my cleaning easier and much safer, and I would recommend it.

(More customer reviews)I've been pressure washing a 5000ft2 house for 8 years now every fall. This year I decided to try a turbo nozzle, and it cut the time by 2/3. It rotates at high speed, so it essentially cleans a 4-5" wide swath at the same impact pressure as if it were just a high-pressure pencil-size stream. It got my white siding incredibly clean. Not that a standard nozzle won't do that, but cleaning a 1/2" wide path at one time would take forever. I highly recommend it. I used it on a briggs 2400psi pressure washer and it worked great.

(More customer reviews)When I saw this item and read the 2 prior, more glowing reviews I was thrilled as we were looking for one of these. Sadly, once it arrived it quickly became evident that this item was not built with quality or durability in mind. Without even assembling the item you get the sense it's very cheaply made. All the supplied hardware is plastic, and most all the places where 2 parts meet it's plastic meeting plastic (save the thin metal handles). Brushes are big plastic "combs". The catcher bag is thin tarp material and is very small- if you use this for leaf pickup unless your yard is 10x10 if you have even a couple of trees you will be emptying this every few steps. When I unpacked it the bag already had unstitched or torn in the corners. My sense is that after a few uses this thing will be useless-one crack in the plastic where there is stress under use and it will be at the curb with the rest of the trash. Save the money-even for light duty, I would not recommend. We sent ours back today. First item I have ever sent back to Amazon. Maybe one day I will find an old used one from the 70s at a garage sale-one that's made of metal and canvas with a LARGE catcher that will stand up to the task. Gave it 2 stars instead of one since it may actually pick items up-though we never tried.

(More customer reviews)The product is made with solid brass fittings and durable plastic. I imagine it lasting for a very very long time. Overall the product is very well made. You will not be disappointed with the quality.
On a side note, this has to be one of my better purchases. I use it for was washing cars, my home windows, and whatever else needs cleaning. Not only does it make my life easier, it actually makes things cleaner. In all of my applications, I used to fill a bucket with soap and water, wash a little area and then re-dip my wash mitt back into the bucket. Well every time I 'dipped' I would be placing dirt back into the bucket, making subsequent 'dips' less clean. And by the time I got the bottom of the bucket, there was only dirt and water left over. With the foamer the first application has as much 'clean' soap as the last.

General Pump Brass Inline Water Filter - Male NPT Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this inline water filter to place on our washer cold water line to keep the trash from stopping the water flow. There is a female connector on one end as shown in the photo, and I assumed there was a male water hose connector on the opposite end.
When it arrived I discovered the other end needed a water hose adapter in order to make it a true inline water filter. I finally found one at a Gilroys Got It hardware store because neither Lowes nor Home Depot carried it.
If you are purchasing this for a similar use as I had, please be aware that you will need that adapter. It's another $4.00.

There was no way to do this without stressing the plastic. For a product with 'Karcher' in the title, I would expect the fittings to match. I would be aware to buy if you don't want to go through this hassle.

I'm impressed with the fact they put a grease fitting and used a sealed spindel bearing set up.
It should last a lifetime, even if it's used 40 hrs a week. It's that good!!
Set up was 2 ss bolts, and 2 ss pins, fit like a glove! 2 brass pressure fittings, you will need teflon tape, no big deal, or don't use any and let it leak. I also noticed the angle of the spray is pre set and not moveable. Thats a good thing. The spray tips are removeable so if they plug you can take them off and clean them out with a wire.
I own a 4000 PSI 11 hp Honda, with 4GPM out put pump. I'd say that's the key to this Surface Cleaner, you need the PSI and GPM for it to work fast. I can walk along at a normal pace and it cleans fine. Not working at a turtles pace with a small P Washer. I'd say any thing under 3000 psi 3GPM won't work right.

Pentair LX5000G Kreepy Krauly Legend II Pressure Pool Cleaner, Black/White Review

(More customer reviews)What a great pool sweep. I asked my pool maintenance man for a recommendation, and he did not hesitate: The Kreepy Krauly Legend was the only pool sweep he would recommend. I've used the Polaris (it always seemed to be broken) and the Phantom (it never worked right). The Legend puts those sweeps to shame. It completely cleans my mid-sized, built-in pool in about two hours. It also has a scrub brush on the end of the tail that actually cleans the algae as the sweep moves through the pool. How cool is that?
With other sweeps (the Phantom in particular) I always had trouble getting the unit out of the pool without a significant portion of the leaves and dirt falling back into the pool. Very frustrating! This doesn't happen with the Legend. Once the leaves get into the debris bag, they stay in the debris bag.
If you are replacing a pool sweep, I highly recommend the Legend. If you are buying your first sweep, please note that the Legend (and most other sweeps) requires its own booster pump, which can be quite expensive to install (I think our booster pump cost about $1,000 for parts and labor). Pentair does make a sweep (the Legend II) that runs off the pool's primary circulating pump; i.e., the sweep does not require a dedicated pump. I have not used the Legend II, but if you don't have a booster pump already installed, you might be wise to see if the Legend II is right for you.
Plus there is a $100 manufacture's mail-in rebate that runs until August 2011. I couldn't be happier.

I presently have a normal middle of the road one from Lowes. Well the Lowes one beat this one out hands down.
This is pathetic at best if you are looking for pressure. If that is not the case it looks well made but the one I got from Lowes is as nice for a third of the price. Plan to return this.

(More customer reviews)This is a chrome metal shower head and hose that attaches to common water pipes found in most showers here in the USA. What you get is a pretty complete kit, including the shower head, flexible hose (the hose itself is about 5 1/2 foot long, but with the head attached is about 6 foot), a mount fixture that allows the shower head to be aimed when you need two hand for other things, three washers, and even a small roll of plumbers tape. The only thing missing is the slip or pipe wrench needed to install it. That you find in your local hardware store.
This is a low water flow design with plastic restrictors at both ends of the hose. If that doesn't suit you, the restrictors can be drilled out, but be careful if you choose to do so. I left mine in, and the water pressure was adequate.
First use was great, pressure was good and the ability to both aim the water spray and direct the water by hand is priceless.
And best of all, it's affordable.
