We bought this pressure washer because of its low price. It was easy to assemble. After assembling, I checked the oil and it appeared to be at the fill line. I thought it might just be some cosmoline on the dipstick so I wiped it and checked again with the same result. I added oil anyway and then it showed a little past full. My husband also checked the oil and scolded me for adding more. My husband added gas and attempted to start it after we hooked up the hose and turned on the faucet...
Despite the claim to have an easy start "ready motor", it did not start after 3 tries. On the 4th try, it started and ran for about 20 seconds and then shut down again. Started again, ran for 30 seconds and then shutdown. We restarted, the engine bogged down then siezed up. We checked the oil AGAIN after this...and it showed NO OIL on the dipstick and a bunch of burnt carbon. We had to take it back before we could even use the thing. And after you've started it, the repair shop has to tear it apart before they will refund your money. So, the repair shop said that the piston was siezed up without any apparent reason and we didn't do anything wrong. They offered to upgrade to the next highest price B&S 2700 psi, so we did that. The funny thing is, the repair shop had 3 of the power washers sitting there waiting their turn to be fixed.
