I have the Lowes 2000 PSI version of this model that I purchased last year, and let me start of by saying that I absolutely love this machine, and it does a great job at what it is supposed to do, and that is pressure washing.
When I decided I needed a pressure washer, I was concerned that an electric model would not be sufficent for my needs and I would proabably be better off with a gas model, but I also really would rather have an electric one. When I saw the 2000 psi version at Lowe's, I was skeptical because it had a higher psi than many gas models and I didn't know if I could trust the brand. But, I went ahead and bought it and it really does a great job, and am very happy with it. If you are looking for a pressure washer in this psi range, and you'd rather have electric but are a bit worried, you should be fine with this model (the Lowe's or this one at Amazon, I doubt the extra 150 makes much difference and I paid I think over 200 at Lowes...)
What I hate! And let me start off by saying that I just quickly looked at several other electric power washers, and they'd probably all be just as bad at this, but trying to use the 25 or 30 ft unwinding hose is an excercise in futility. For starters, it is wrapped so tightly around the spool, and it is so thick, that it comes off the spool and immediately starts to coil, so instead of being 30 ft long, it's about 10 ft long with 20 little coils in it. If you try to pull on it AT ALL, the entire unit becomes unstable and falls over because it is top heavy and has nothing weighing it down in the front - so it just falls right over on its back. I probably wouldn't care about this happening except that when it is on its side or back the cleaning solutions both start leaking out all over the place, so you have to go back over and put it upright again, and of course when you walk near it, any line that you had uncoiled coils right back up again. It is also very hard to recoil the line back on the spool if you've managed to uncoil it all, turning that crank is like tourqing a bolt...
So, buy the unit, it does a good job for small to medium sized tasks, but use your garden hose and just carry the thing around with you, luckily it does have a very long electric cord...
