I actually got this online through Home Depot for $100 (but without free shipping & with sales tax so about $120 overall). It does a good job of cleaning stucco, wood siding, and decks, and cheaper than renting a pressure washer for extensive cleaning that might take several days. However there are problems:
*As noted by many in Home Depot reviews, the hose quick release connection leaks--badly--which seems to be a universal problem. This not only wastes a lot of water but tends to soak your feet as you carry the unit around and makes cleaning a lot messier. I don't know how Stanley could ship out such an obviously faulty design.
*After about a dozen hours use, the high pressure hose is developing a kink, which will obviously lead to failure in the near future and the need to get a replacement for $30.
*The very useful variable nozzle wand suddenly stopped working properly after about 10 hours. Trying to clean out the the small outlet with the needle cleaner they included hasn't fixed the problem. Will have to try to return for an exchange under warranty. Fortunately the unit includes a non-variable second wand with a swirling cleaning action that seems to do most cleaning jobs just as well, except for ones needing really high pressure.
*Not really a problem specific to Stanley, but be aware the high-pressure pump sucks a lot of electrical energy, like running a 1500 watt room heater. I was surprised at how much this added to my electrical use and bill for the month.
Otherwise, I got pretty much what I hoped and expected, an inexpensive unit that does most cleaning very well.
